SILICONE VALLEY

300,000 computer keys and silicone adhesive on board, approx. 90 square metres, 2005

A massive decorative matrix generated through covering the wall surfaces of a Rose Bay High School corridor with 300,000 individual computer keys sourced from obsolete computer keyboards.

The residues of millions of touches remain on the keys capturing the tactile manifestations of past enquiries, exchanges and communications.
