SCAPE
(collaboration with Scottish artist Stephen Hurrell)
1.8-5.5m x 5m x 70m, marine grade stainless steel, 2008
SCAPE is an artificial landscape designed to be simultaneously seen and seen through, from multiple directions. Inspired by the flow and exchange that characterises symbiotic relationships, SCAPE interacts with local weather conditions, and reflects natural and artificial light from passing traffic.
SCAPE is a landmark public artwork, installed at Cambridge, Tasmania, and was commissioned by Hydro Consulting.
